BCFSA Launches New Pensions Roundtable
BCFSA is launching a Pensions Roundtable and is seeking applications from industry leaders to join the roundtable for two-year terms starting in May, 2025.
BCFSA’s industry roundtables provide a platform for dialogue between industry leaders and the regulator, to inform regulatory initiatives and priorities. BCFSA is committed to engaging transparently with our stakeholders in order to facilitate awareness building and an open exchange of perspectives.
The Pensions Roundtable will reflect the diversity of B.C.’s pension industry, with representation from defined benefit, target benefit, and defined contribution plans, including:
- Plan administrators
- Actuaries
- Pension lawyers
- Third-party pension services administrators
- Investment managers
- Plan sponsors
Interested parties are invited to apply to become a member of BCFSA’s Pensions Roundtable by completing the Application Form by February 15, 2025. To learn more about the mandate and selection criteria, please review the Terms of Reference.

Appointments to Industry Roundtables are made through an open, transparent, and merit-based application process posted on BCFSA’s website. Members are selected based on their relevant skills, experience, knowledge, and perspectives.
