Working at BCFSA

BC Financial Services Authority (“BCFSA”) is a regulatory crown agency of the Government of British Columbia with offices in Vancouver and Victoria. Working for BCFSA means being part of a modern, effective, and efficient financial services regulator with broad scope and an important public mandate.

BCFSA is the single regulator responsible for B.C.’s financial services sectors, with regulatory oversight of credit unions, trust companies, insurance companies, mortgage brokers, pension plans, and real estate services. These sectors are not only a key driver of B.C.’s economy but also directly impact the lives of all British Columbians.

As we grow our team, we aspire to attract and retain individuals who are committed to protecting the public interest and maintaining confidence in the financial services marketplace. We offer an exciting, culturally diverse work environment that is representative of the diversity of our province.

Healthy working relationships are important, so we make sure that all our team members have opportunities to relax and get to know one another. A social committee organizes engaging events throughout the year to foster interdepartmental relations.
