Consultation on Adoption of OSFI’s B-2, B-3, B-10, and E-21 Guidelines

BCFSA has consulted on its adoption of four guidelines published by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Services (“OSFI”) that apply to B.C. incorporated insurance companies (“insurance companies”). The consultation aimed to gather feedback on any challenges to implementation as well as implementation timelines. 

BCFSA values the feedback it received and thanks the insurers that took the time to participate in the consultation.

BCFSA invites stakeholder input from B.C. incorporated insurance companies, industry partners and the public from April 8, 2025 to July 8, 2025.

Responses and comments received during the consultation have been reviewed by BCFSA and were used to inform the final versions of the guidelines.
