Superintendent's list of financial institutions offering locked-in pension products
This list is to be used for the purposes of sections 94-109, 111-128, and 130 and 162 of the British Columbia Pension Benefits Standards Regulation.
The Financial Institutions that appear on this list, as indicated in bold typeface, have been acknowledged by the Superintendent to accept locked-in funds into the types of contracts indicated.
Effective March 31, 2016, the contract name and/or the name of any agent of the Financial Institution will no longer be set out on the Superintendent’s List. Plan administrators may make a locked-in transfer to any contract that is held by a Financial Institution appearing on this list, once they are satisfied that the Financial Institution has complied with the requirements set out in the Regulation.
There may be institutions that have applied to appear on this list but whose application was still being processed at the time this list was updated. Please contact our office to verify the status of any Financial Institution with respect to this list.
