Summary
A discipline committee of the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (the “Council”) accepted the Consent Order Proposal submitted by Zhong (Susan) Zhang and found that Zhong (Susan) Zhang committed professional misconduct when she:
- in her capacity as the listing agent for the 2016 sale of an unbuilt strata property unit in Surrey, British Columbia, received commission funds in the amount $8,778.51 from the seller by way of a direct deposit into her personal bank account.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered, and Zhong (Susan) Zhang has agreed to, the following penalties:
- a discipline penalty of $4,000;
- enforcement expenses of 1,500; and
- successful completion of the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
