BCFSA Named One of BC’s Top Employers for 2025

BC Financial Services Authority (“BCFSA“) has once again been recognized as one of BC’s Top Employers.

For the third consecutive year, this distinguished award, featured in a special magazine co-published with the Vancouver Sun, acknowledges BCFSA’s unwavering commitment to developing an exceptional workplace environment.

BC’s Top Employers celebrates organizations at the forefront of employee satisfaction and well-being. BCFSA is honoured to be acknowledged, alongside notable winners such as United Way, BC Public Service, and WorkSafeBC, all dedicated to a positive and supportive work culture.

The editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers evaluated companies based on eight key criteria:

  1. Physical workplace
  2. Work atmosphere & social
  3. Health, financial & family benefits
  4. Vacation & time off
  5. Employee communications
  6. Performance management
  7. Training & skills development
  8. Community involvement

Some of the reasons BCFSA was recognized include:

  • Flexibility, including hybrid and remote work options
  • Vacation entitlements
  • Generous benefits program, including compassionate leave top-up

“Being recognized for the third year in a row is a big honour and confirms that BCFSA is an employer of choice—a place where talented people come together to strengthen British Columbians’ confidence in their financial services,” said Tolga Yalkin, CEO of BCFSA. “We’re thrilled that our commitment to creating a workplace where employees can grow and innovate is being recognized.”

The full list of BC’s Top Employers for 2025, featuring BCFSA on pages 20 and 21, is available at BC’s Top Employers.
