Premier's Announcement of New Provincial Rules

Vancouver, British Columbia, March 18, 2016: The Real Estate Council of BC will carefully review today’s announcement by the Premier to provide further protection for the public. The Council is responsible for enforcing the licensing and licensee conduct requirements of the Real Estate Services Act in order to protect the interests of the public in their interactions with real estate licensees. As such, we look forward to building on this announcement through the review, communication and implementation of the recommendations of the Independent Advisory Group, which is examining a broad range of issues relating to consumer protection and real estate licensee conduct.
