    The Pension Benefits Standards Act of British Columbia (“PBSA”) is designed to protect the interests of British Columbia pension plan members. It provides minimum standards for every employment pension plan in such areas as eligibility, vesting, and portability. The PBSA also sets out solvency and investment rules for some types of plans.
