Reminder: Have Your Say on Proposed Data Collection Rules
Real estate licensees and the public are encouraged to take part in BCFSA’s consultation on proposed amendments to the Real Estate Services Rules. The deadline to participate is August 27, 2023.
Relevant and timely data provides important insights that help BCFSA assess and respond to real estate market conditions and risks, inform regulatory decision-making, and support investigations. The proposed Rules amendments would strengthen and clarify BCFSA’s authorities to collect real estate data.
BCFSA’s consultation is also seeking your feedback on stronger record-keeping and disclosure requirements, with proposed changes including:
- Retention of offers; and
- Written disclosures of conflicts of interest.
Find more details on our Consultation page.
How to Participate During the Consultation Period
