What’s New in Legal Update 2025
BCFSA is pleased to announce key changes to the course duration of Legal Update 2025, and that course registration is now open.
In the current version of Legal Update, licensees and registrants complete the course over a three-week period: two weeks to complete the online component, followed by one week of the virtual classroom component.
In response to survey feedback, BCFSA has shortened the course duration of Legal Update 2025 to five business days. The online component of the course is self-paced and must be completed at least one day before the virtual classroom component. The virtual classroom component is a full-day, five-hour session.
Registration for Legal Update 2025 is now open and launches on January 6, 2025.
Register NowThis year, renewing licensees will see the following changes when enrolling in Legal Update:
- Disclosures;
- Conflicts of interest; and
- Recent amendments to the Strata Property Act (“SPA”)
