Real estate licensee Rimpy Hothi suspended from all trading services activity
BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) has suspended the licences of Rimpy Hothi and Rimpy Hothi Personal Real Estate Corporation, effective September 4, 2026.
Hothi has been issued an order in urgent circumstances under section 45 of the Real Estate Services Act. As per the order, Hothi is suspended from all licensed real estate activity, and cannot work as an unlicensed assistant. Hothi must also change the name of her registered real estate team, Rimpy Hothi Group, within 10 days of the order’s effective date.
Information for clients and consumers
BCFSA recommends that current clients of Hothi contact Hothi’s brokerage, Sutton Group – West Coast Realty, to understand how the suspension impacts them and what their available options are to work with a licensed real estate agent at the brokerage.
Consumers should be aware that Hothi is unlicensed as of September 4, 2026, and cannot provide any trading services or unlicensed assistant duties while the suspension is in effect.
