Mortgage Broker Resources

The first stage of the Integrated Regulatory Information System (“IRIS”) launched in September 2021 and will enable mortgage brokers, credit unions, insurance companies, and trust companies to submit certain filings and submissions, with remaining filings and functionality coming online incrementally through 2022.
For all currently registered submortgage brokers, or those who have been registered in the past you must:
- Create an account on the IRIS portal; any previous logins from Mortgage Broker Electronic Filing (MBEF) no longer exist
- The login email must be the email you received this message at and which is currently on file with BCFSA
For Mortgage Brokers this will enable all registered individuals to submit their own renewals and new registrations through the IRIS portal. With submission through the portal, you will be able to upload your documents, make payment, and enter education renewal courses.
These applications will be submitted to the Office of the Registrar once the Designated Individual has attested to the submitted application. Final approval will then be completed by staff at the Office of the Registrar.
