Transferring to another brokerage

If you are currently licensed with a brokerage and would like to transfer to another one, you will have to complete the transfer process.

Submitting a transfer

Transfers are available to currently licensed mortgage brokers. To submit a transfer, you will need:

  • The name of the brokerage/brokerage licence number of the brokerage you would like to transfer to; and
  • A Visa or Mastercard to pay the $300 transfer fee.

When you are ready with the information required to make a transfer, log in to IRIS, create a New Submission, select Transfer Mortgage Broker and follow the prompts to complete the process.
